We're Becca and Nick Van Liere, the partnership behind this community-rooted, family-owned space called Fika. 

Long before opening the doors at Fika, we dreamed of creating a welcoming spot where everyone, regardless of background or dietary need, could enjoy food that’s nourishing and delicious.

Our commitment to plant based and gluten free offerings comes from a place of care - for people, animals, and the planet. What started as a scrappy, grassroots effort (with zero investors and plenty of elbow grease) has grown into something special, thanks to the support of a like-minded community that shares our values of equality, sustainability, and good food made with love.

This isn’t our first foray in the Grand Rapids food scene - we're also the owners of Rise Authentic Baking Co, a beloved bakery across town known for its allergy-friendly treats and welcoming vibes.

We hope to serve you soon, Grand Rapids!
